TRASHNOT’23

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the  Zero Food Waste Initiative for the upcoming TRASHNOT’23 event, as we remain committed to promoting productive and sustainable agriculture throughout Nigeria.

What is TRASHNOT?

TRASHNOT’23 is an event that will commemorate the International Day of Awareness on Food Waste and Loss in 2023. Onsite volunteers will visit secondary schools in Akure, Ondo, Nigeria, to inspire and empower young people to combat food waste practices and make a positive impact on our food system. Our online volunteers will actively engage in tasks designed to educate and inspire individuals worldwide to combat food waste practices.

We will also provide training to local farmers in Ondo State, Nigeria, to assist them in converting farm waste into valuable organic fertilizers. This initiative will reduce waste, enrich our soils, and promote a greener and more sustainable future. Click here to learn more.

By working together, we can reduce food waste and combat hunger in Nigeria!
